My neighbor lets her three dogs roam the backyard all day.We have adjoining driveways. Her dogs bark when we pull in to the driveway and when we leave. They bark at any noise they might hear in our house. Everynight when I shower the dogs howl when I turn on the water. They bark when we turn on our television. Are there city ordinances pertaining to noise pollution?Who enforces? Any experience with problem/suggestions for solutions?
The City of Houston does have an ordinance that addresses barking dogs, but that does not solve the problem. The best first option is to speak with your neighbor and politely inform them that the barking is disturbing to you and your family.
